About Family & Couple Portraits
Forget the 'say cheese' routine. We skip the awkwardness entirely because my job is to catch the real stuff—the way you look at each other, the way your kids giggle when they’re actually having fun. I plan the mood board and styling beforehand, so when you walk into Whitelight Studioz in Khar, all you have to do is show up and breathe.
Most people walk into a studio dreading the 'pose, smile, hold' cycle. That is not how we work. Whether you are coming in for a Modern Legacy Family Session or an intimate couple’s portrait, my approach is about capturing the dynamic between you.
I have spent nearly 20 years refining my eye for emotion over drama. We work with natural light and clean setups to ensure the focus stays exactly where it belongs: on your family.
How We Make It Work
- The Prep: We plan the color palette and mood board before you arrive. If you’re stuck on what to wear, I guide you on color coordination so the whole group looks cohesive, not matchy-matchy.
- The Location: You have options. We can shoot at my boutique studio in Khar West, which is fully equipped with professional lighting and backdrops, or I can bring the entire setup to your home if that’s where you feel most comfortable.
- The Vibe: Kids are unpredictable and that is fine. I don't force them to sit still. I work around their energy levels, which usually leads to the most honest, joyful photos.
