About Family & Generational Portraits
I don't do stiff posing. During our session, I focus on the gaps between the smiles—the way you look at each other, the way your kids cling to you, or that quiet moment when you're just standing together. I keep the studio atmosphere relaxed so you feel like you're at home, letting those genuine expressions surface naturally without any pressure to perform.
Whether you are documenting a milestone like a first birthday or simply want a fresh portrait of your growing family, the goal is always the same: to tell your story.
My Lower Parel studio is a neutral canvas where we can play with textures, soft light, and simple props that don't distract from the main focus—your bond.
What to expect
- The Pre-Shoot Chat: We’ll talk about your family's dynamic before the camera even comes out. If the kids are shy or the baby is cranky, we just pause. No rushing, no ticking clocks.
- Authentic Interactions: I guide you into positions that feel natural. Think of us hanging out; you’ll be sitting, hugging, and playing while I capture the magic as it happens.
- Black & White or Color: I am a sucker for classic black and white portraits. They strip away the noise and keep the focus entirely on emotion.
I recommend wearing comfortable, coordinated outfits. We’ll capture the classic family shots you want for the frame, but we’ll also get those candid glimpses of laughter and connection that usually end up being your favorites. Let’s make something timeless together. 🤍
