Brand Storytelling Through Movement
I collaborate with brands to turn identity into visual narrative. From high-fashion campaigns to commercial spots, we craft the body language that tells your story through movement, not just dance.
The "Live Your Denim" campaign for Westside was all about celebrating individuality through dance. I choreographed this piece to feel free and expressive, letting each dancer bring their own style to the movement.
For this Label Ritu Kumar "Basics" campaign, I worked with an amazing group of dancers to create a piece that felt both powerful and playful. The choreography highlights the comfort and style of the collection through sharp, synchronized movements.
This clip from the Label Ritu Kumar "Basics" campaign showcases the fun, girl-gang energy we created on set. The movement is all about freedom, friendship, and expressing joy through dance.
The "Vivadelic" campaign for Satya Paul was a trip back to the 60s. I used fluid, psychedelic-inspired movement to match the vibrant prints and flowing fabrics of the collection, turning fashion into a visual experience.
Another look at the Satya Paul "Vivadelic" campaign, where fashion and movement merge. I am so grateful for projects like this that allow me to explore a brand's world through choreography.
About Brand Storytelling Through Movement
People often think choreography for brands means loud dance sequences, but my process starts with the silence between the steps. Whether we are capturing the effortless energy of a denim campaign or the psychedelic mood of a runway show, I focus on the micro-movements—how a hand rests on a prop, the rhythm of a walk, or the attitude in a gaze. This attention to detail ensures the model’s body language aligns perfectly with the brand's voice, making the commercial feel authentic rather than staged.
My process always starts with the director's vision. Whether we are shooting in a studio or on location, the goal is to integrate the movement so seamlessly that it feels natural to the scene. For fashion brands like Ritu Kumar or Westside, I translate the collection's fabric and style into a specific flow—sharp, playful, or fluid.
How we work
- Conceptual Phase: We start with virtual meetings to align on the mood and rhythm of the piece. I prepare digital mood boards to help us visualize the tone before we ever hit the floor.
- On-Set Execution: I work alongside the Director and DOP to ensure the body language fits the camera blocking. My team helps manage talent energy, ensuring we keep the vibe high even during long shoot days.
- Collaboration: I thrive on the energy of a full crew. Whether it’s coordinating a small cast for a product film or directing larger groups, my focus remains on the storytelling aspect—no forced steps, just authentic movement that says what words cannot.
I bring this approach to commercials, music videos, and digital content, ensuring every frame communicates the brand's identity effectively.
