About Behind the Scenes
When you see the final edit of a commercial like the AXE campaign, you are seeing the result of hours of on-set coordination. My process starts long before the cameras roll, balancing rehearsal time with the director's specific needs for blocking and talent energy. Whether we are in a studio or on location, I am there to ensure that every movement serves the narrative, helping talent feel confident and natural under the lights.
Great work isn't just about dance; it's about making sure the movement fits the story we are trying to tell. When I am on set, my focus is on maintaining high energy for the performers while ensuring technical requirements like camera blocking and lighting angles are met.
The Collaborative Process
Every project is different. Sometimes we are working in a studio for a music video, and other times we are dealing with complex terrain for a brand film. My assistants and I work to bridge the gap between the director’s vision and what the talent is physically capable of delivering in that moment.
