A Look Inside Our Creative Art Classroom
Step into my Vile Parle studio, where we focus on finding your own voice through art, laughter, and exploring new mediums together.
I was so touched when one of my young students interviewed me about the role of an artist in society. I explained that today, an artist can have a career in over 200 fields, from architecture to fashion design. It is a world full of possibilities.
About A Look Inside Our Classroom
In my classes, we start with simple chit-chat. This is not just a place to learn techniques; it is a space to breathe and get lost in your own colours, whether you are a beginner picking up a brush for the first time or a student prepping for board exams.
When you walk into my studio, you will not find a rigid assembly line of students copying a teacher's drawing. You will see a space where art is treated as therapy and a form of self-expression. We spend our time exploring different mediums, from charcoal and sketching to vibrant acrylics.
My approach centers on your 'pehchaan' or identity. Whether you are a student preparing for board exams or an adult looking to destress after work, the goal remains the same: to find your creative voice without the pressure of perfection.
I often remind my students that the world of art is vast. Being an artist today goes far beyond traditional paintings. There are over 200 potential careers, including architecture, fashion, and industrial design. We do not just teach you how to draw; we teach you how to understand perspective and build a portfolio that reflects your true potential. We offer a range of sessions, from structured exam preparation for ICSE and IGCSE boards to relaxed workshops where the only requirement is your willingness to try. If you are nervous about your skill level, chinta mat karo (don't worry). My classroom is built on patience, laughter, and support.
