A Glimpse Into Our Creative Art Journey
Welcome to my happy place in Vile Parle. Here, we do not just paint; we discover ourselves, build confidence, and celebrate every little achievement along the way.
It fills my heart with joy to hear Sana share her experience. She scored an incredible 99 in her art exams, and seeing her grow from a small kid in my class to this confident young artist is the greatest reward for me.
Come, let me give you a small tour of our happy place. You can see students of all ages exploring what they love, from portrait sketching to texture painting. My main motto is that every child should enjoy their art safar and feel confident in what they create.
Zaisha’s journey with me from senior KG to her 10th grade has been so special. Hearing her talk about her achievements and scoring a 98 in her ICSE art exam makes me feel so proud. It is a blessing to be her teacher.
This beautiful, vibrant painting was created by one of my dear students. I believe art is a meditative process, and this piece shows the joy and focus that goes into every single brushstroke. It's a wonderful example of finding your own style for a strong portfolio.
The Maharashtra board exams can feel like a big challenge, but we can prepare for them calmly. Here are a few of my tips for object drawing and memory drawing, focusing on how to manage your time and compose your figures. We practice these things in mock tests so you feel ready.
For me, painting is like meditation. This is a glimpse into my own process of creating a watercolor portrait, from the first pencil sketch to layering the colors. I find that my own practice helps me guide my students better.
I am always so proud when my students get recognition for their hard work. This shows some of the many awards they have won in national and international competitions, like the Nandalal Bose Gold Medal and the Bal Ratna Award.
This is a moment of pure happiness. Here I am with my student Aahana, celebrating her wonderful achievement in the ICSE 10th grade art exam. Seeing my students succeed is the true tapassya ka phal.
About Featured
When you step into my Vile Parle studio, you will notice something different. We do not chase perfection or rigid lines. Instead, my students focus on exploring their own creative voice, whether that means prepping for ICSE board exams or just unwinding with charcoal sketches. I guide them to find that sweet spot between technique and joy, because when you truly enjoy your art, the results, like high board scores or awards, follow naturally.
Art as a Path to Discovery
My journey as a teacher began in 1988, and every year I am reminded that art is a powerful tool for self-discovery. Whether you are a student preparing for ICSE, IGCSE, or SSC board exams, or an adult looking for a creative outlet, my classes in Vile Parle are designed to be a safe, supportive space.
Exam Prep Without the Stress
I understand that board exams can feel overwhelming. My approach to exam coaching—especially for the Maharashtra State Grade Exams—is to remove the fear. We break down complex tasks like object drawing and memory drawing into manageable steps. We use timed simulations to master the 35-20-35 minute strategy, ensuring you feel prepared and calm when the actual exam paper is in front of you. It is about building muscle memory and confidence, not just completing sheets.
Building Your Identity
For students eyeing design colleges like NID or NIFT, your portfolio is your pehchaan (identity). We work together to curate a collection that reflects your specific strengths—be it charcoal portraiture, mixed media, or life drawing. We focus on storytelling, ensuring that every piece of art speaks to your unique perspective.
Why My Classroom?
My classroom is not a factory. It is a community where we share stories, laughter, and support. My students are my teachers—seeing them grow, whether they are winning a medal or simply finding the courage to express themselves through colors, is my tapassya ka phal (fruit of my hard work). If you are ready to start your own creative safar (journey), come say hello. We will find your voice together.
