My studio also functions as a gallery, where I display specially curated exhibitions of professional and student work to inspire everyone who walks in.
About The Artistic Process & Studio Vibe
What you notice first in our studio isn't just the smell of paint or the canvases on the walls, but the rhythm of the work. You might sit next to a teenager preparing a portfolio for a global design university while an adult hobbyist learns the basics of acrylic blending. We intentionally keep our sessions small so you receive specific, hands-on feedback on your brushwork or composition, ensuring you aren't just copying a reference but actually mastering the technique behind it.
A Space for Every Artist
At The Art Hub, our studio in South Extension I acts as both a learning space and an exhibition gallery. We designed this environment to be the opposite of an impersonal classroom. Because we work with everyone from 4-year-olds exploring shapes to adults refining their perspective skills, the studio requires a layout that fosters focus rather than distraction.
How We Approach The Process
We move away from the 'cookie-cutter' approach found in many large workshops.
- Foundational Rigor: Whether you are starting with sketching fundamentals, charcoal shading, or acrylic painting, we begin with a critique and a plan. We help you understand the anatomy of your subject before you put pigment to canvas.
- Small Group Mentorship: You receive one-on-one attention during every session. If you are struggling with blending acrylics or finding the right color theory balance for a portrait, your instructor is there to demonstrate the motion, not just give you instructions.
- Professional Materials: We provide high-quality MDF bases, stretched canvases, professional-grade paints, and specialized sculpting tools. You don't need to bring a kit; you just need to bring your focus.
Preparing for Your Visit
If you are coming in for a single-day workshop, such as Pichwai art or Lipan Kaam, expect a concentrated session. We balance the technical steps with breaks for tea and conversation, allowing the work to dry or ideas to settle. For our monthly students, we offer storage for your ongoing projects, so you can pick up exactly where you left off the next week. Our goal is to provide a consistent, professional atmosphere where your creative confidence grows alongside your technical skill.
The Art Hub
At The Art Hub, we believe the studio should feel like a second home. I founded this space in South Delhi to bridge the gap between casual hobby classes and rigorous professional training. Here, you get real, one-on-one mentorship from artists who actually care about your progress, not just following a rigid curriculum.
