About Therapeutic Art Sessions
Art is my way of finding peace, and I love sharing that with others. My sessions aren’t about making perfect paintings - they’re about letting go, playing with colors, and just being yourself. Sometimes, you discover something new about yourself, sometimes you just feel lighter. That’s the real magic.
What Happens in a Session
- No pressure, no rules. You pick what you want to create and how you want to do it.
- We use all sorts of materials - from finger painting to coffee painting, whatever feels right.
- I guide you, but you’re always in control. It’s your journey.
- All materials are provided, so you just show up and start.
Who Can Join
- Anyone looking for a break or a new hobby.
- People on a healing journey - art is a gentle companion for tough times.
- Seniors, adults, and those with special needs. I adapt techniques so everyone can express themselves.
Why I Do This
I’ve seen art change lives. Like Jay, who couldn’t walk or talk, but found his voice through adaptive art techniques. His smile, his paintings, his courage - that’s my real reward. Meri tapassya ka phal mujhe mil gaya (I have received the fruit of my penance).
If you want to try healing through art or just reconnect with your inner child, my studio is open. Come as you are, let’s create something together.

My Story
Hi, I’m Shefali. Been teaching art since 1988 - feels like yesterday, honestly. Art for me is not about perfect lines, it’s about finding yourself. Kids are my world, they keep me grounded. Jay, one of my students, changed my life - meri zindagi mein ek sundar sa phool khila (a beautiful flower bloomed in my life). I’ve seen art bring courage to kids fighting cancer, and Sonam, who came back after 24 years, still fills me with gratitude. Art heals, art gives hope.
My Work
Art classes & workshops for all ages - I run regular batches, creative art workshops, sketching classes for beginners, and canvas painting for adults.
Exam & portfolio guidance - I help with ICSE, Elementary & Intermediate exam prep, plus portfolio guidance for students.
Corporate & celebration art parties - I organise fun art parties for birthdays or any celebration, and corporate workshops too.
My teaching style - No pressure, just exploring, laughing, and finding your own voice. Art is therapy here.
Classroom vibe - We start with chit-chat, then everyone gets lost in their colors. It’s a space to breathe and relax.
