Romantic Proposal & Cabana Setup
Signature Proposal Elements
- Marquee Letters: Electric LED-lit "MARRY ME" or "LOVE" lettering (approx. 2-3 feet height).
- Focal Point: Large floral heart wreath or neon "Will You Marry Me" signage.
- Special Effects: 2 shots of cold fire sparklers timed for the big moment (30-second duration).
Lighting & Atmosphere
- Fairy Light Canopy: Extensive string lighting draped to create a starry-night effect.
- Candle Walkway: Pathway lined with 20-30 flameless LED pillar candles in glass vases.
- Rose Petals: Approx. 1.5 to 2 kg of fresh rose petals scattered densely along the aisle.
Private Cabana Dining
- Structure: 4-pole pipe structure with sheer white curtain drapes and floral tie-backs.
- Table Setup: Dining table for two with satin runner, charger plates, and floral centerpiece.
- Signage: Customized "Date Night" message board on a wooden easel.
Boho-Chic Picnic & Party Setup
Low-Seating Configuration
- Furniture: 2-3 wooden pallet tables arranged in a community dining style.
- Comfort: Floor mattresses with clean white linens, jute rugs, and 15-20 plush cushions in theme colors.
- Table Styling: Macramé runners, artificial pampas grass in ceramic vases, and tea-light candles.
Backdrop & Decor
- Balloon Garland: L-shaped or semi-arch arrangement (10-12 running feet) using pastel and chrome latex balloons.
- Signage: Neon "Better Together" / "Happy Birthday" sign or card-stock bunting.
- Themed Props: Includes sashes, foil balloons, and fun party elements integrated into the setup.
Ambience
- Lighting: Overhead string lights or paper lanterns suspended above the seating zone.
- Welcome Sign: Chalkboard or easel stand with a customized printed poster (A3 size).
Traditional Haldi & Mehendi Decor
Stage & Backdrop
- Truss Structure: Circular or rectangular frame draped in bright festive fabrics (Yellow, Orange, Pink, or Green).
- Floral Detailing: Dense arrangement of fresh Marigold strings mixed with artificial white Tuberoses outlining the frame.
- Couple Seating: Decorated 2-seater Diwan or Sofa with bolster cushions and rug.
Traditional Props
- Entrance Zone: Welcome board with floral accents and a decorative "Chai Station" display with kettles and glasses.
- Floor Elements: 2-4 Brass Urlis filled with water, floating petals, and candles.
- Ceiling Decor: Hanging Kaleeras, fabric tassels, or Rajasthani umbrellas.
Technical Setup
- Lighting: Halogen or Par cans focused on the backdrop for clear photography.
- Photo Props: Set of 5-10 themed placards relevant to the occasion.

I design and decorate spaces for moments you want to remember. Whether it’s a dreamy proposal, a chill birthday, or a wild bachelorette, I’m here to set the mood - soulful, cozy, and always Instagram-worthy. I believe the vibe of a place matters just as much as the people in it.
My Style
I’m all about creating a vibe that feels personal and looks good in every photo. Some setups I love working on:
- Boho picnic setup with floor seating, pampas, fairy lights.
- Romantic proposal decoration - think red roses, candle-lit walkways, and those big ‘MARRY ME’ letters.
- Minimalist party styling for those who like it clean and classy.
For traditional Indian event decor, I go bright and cultural - haldi and mehndi with genda, Sagan evenings with cabanas, chai stations, or satsangs with mogra and marigolds.
The Details I Sweat
What sets me apart? I obsess over details. From balloon arch backdrops and personalized foil balloons to floral runners, neat tablescapes, and custom neon signs - I want every corner to feel special. Lighting is my secret weapon, whether it’s fairy curtains or marquee letters.

Most of my work is in Delhi NCR, and I have a rooftop space in Gurugram too. But I can set up anywhere you want to make memories.

My Story
We started Shamiyana to be that tucked-away spot in Gurugram where you walk in and just breathe easy. Green all around, fairy lights twinkling, sunsets that make you pause. We’re obsessed with the little things - floral setups, lighting, even the 'Ghajra mohabbat wala' sign. What we love most? Seeing pure joy on faces, whether it’s a surprise proposal or old friends laughing over chai. Every event here, big or small, becomes a memory.
