A collection of my favourite work over the last decade. From detailed bridal portraits and festive designs to modern white henna, see the art that defines my journey.

This is one of my favourite bridal pieces. It tells a complete story on the arm, with a custom portrait of the couple, their engagement date, and intertwined wedding rings with their initials. This is the kind of personal, detailed work I love to create for a bride's special day.

A full bridal mehendi set that showcases a mix of styles. One hand features a beautiful Radha-Krishna figure, while the other has elegant swan motifs and the couple's initials. The arms are decorated with traditional architectural and floral patterns.

For a special baby shower, I created this design featuring a portrait of the happy parents-to-be. The arm includes cute elements like a teddy bear, baby footprints, and playful elephants, celebrating the new life to come.

A portrait of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a figure of great respect. I focus on capturing the powerful expression and details like the 'tripundra' on the forehead and the 'Maharaj' lettering on the fingers. This is a popular request for festivals and cultural events.

Watch the process of creating a detailed Radha-Krishna portrait. This video shows the careful layering and shading I use to bring the figures to life, creating depth and emotion in the design. Every stroke is precise and full of devotion.

White henna is a fantastic choice for parties and photoshoots. It creates a stunning, temporary look that stands out beautifully against the skin, especially when paired with traditional attire and jewellery.

An example of intricate Indian mehendi with beautiful symmetry. This design features majestic peacocks and detailed patterns covering both hands, perfect for a bride who loves classic and elaborate henna art.

About this collection

I don't do off-the-rack patterns. Every design here is 'swatahcha'—entirely yours. Whether it is a portrait of a loved one or a specific cultural motif, I draft it from scratch based on your story. If you are booking for a bridal or portrait session, have your high-quality reference photos ready; I need those clear details to get the shading and expression right on your skin.

My Approach to Mehendi

After ten years of practice, my approach is simple: mehendi should tell a story. I do not believe in repeating standard patterns. Whether I am working on a bridal set, a baby shower design, or a simple festive palm, I focus on the details that make the art yours. My process involves:

  • Customization: I take the time to understand the event theme. If it is a wedding, we discuss the love story elements. If it is a baby shower, we incorporate cute motifs like footprints or cradles.
  • Technical Finishing: This is where I am strict. Whether it is the fine-line work for a portrait or the dense filling of traditional Indian designs, I maintain high standards of 'finishing'.
  • Material Quality: I use freshly mixed organic henna, often with essential oils like Lavender or Eucalyptus, ensuring it is safe for all skin types, including sensitive skin during pregnancy.

Styles I Often Create

  • Portrait & Figure Work: Capturing realistic faces (deities, gurus, or couples) requires advanced layering and shading. I use ultra-fine tip cones to get the expressions just right.
  • Bridal & Engagement: These are intensive sessions. I combine traditional architectural patterns with modern, personal touches like ring motifs or date inscriptions.
  • White Henna & Modern Art: For parties and photoshoots, white henna acts like temporary jewelry. It is a fantastic option for a modern look without the long-term stain.

Booking & Travel

I am based in Navi Mumbai but travel frequently across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area for events. Because I put significant time into the shading and detailing of every piece, especially portraits, I request that we book in advance. This ensures I can dedicate the necessary hours to your design without rushing.

I started this journey ten years ago, and honestly, every pair of hands I design for still gives me the same excitement. I am a bit of a perfectionist about finishing, so expect me to be tough during our sessions—it is only because I want your design to look perfect. My studio in Navi Mumbai is where I share every technique I have learned with my students, and I bring that same dedication to your event.
