Contemporary Residences and Modern Urban Oases
Modern living requires more than just square footage; it requires a sanctuary. I design homes that breathe, integrating biophilic elements and passive cooling to create spaces that serve as an extension of your own rhythm.
The 'STILL HOME' in Tiruppur, where shades of grey create a sense of peace and stillness. The design uses a rich palette of textures, including exposed concrete, GFRC panels, and corten steel, all unified by a monochrome theme.

The warm evening light catches the textured facade of 'STILL HOME'. The interplay of solid and void, light and shadow, and hardscape and softscape creates a dynamic yet calming exterior.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area of a weekend home near Bangalore. The design uses natural terracotta bricks and a large window to connect the interior with the garden outside.

The living room of 'The Valley', a small house design featuring a sunken indoor garden. This biophilic element acts as the natural centerpiece of the home, promoting a sense of calm and connection to nature.

About Contemporary Residences & Urban Oases
My design approach begins with a site-specific climate analysis, ensuring every room benefits from passive cooling and natural light. Whether designing a compact city apartment or a sprawling farmhouse, I focus on tactile, honest materials like exposed brick and polished oxide that age gracefully, keeping your interior spaces grounded and connected to the surrounding landscape.
Architecture is not merely the construction of shelter, but the creation of an environment that nurtures the human condition. In our contemporary residences, we prioritize the fluidity between interior and exterior spaces. This is achieved through the strategic placement of courtyards, skylights, and double-height volumes that invite natural ventilation and light deep into the heart of the home.
Materiality plays a central role in our process. We advocate for the use of local, vernacular materials such as clay bricks, natural stone, and site-excavated mud. These elements provide not just a connection to the geography, but also thermal stability, reducing the reliance on artificial cooling. For instance, in our 'Still Home' project, we utilized a monochrome palette of grey tones across concrete and corten steel to harmonize disparate forms, inducing a sense of tranquility and oneness.
Every project is tailored to the unique topography and micro-climate of the site. We treat the building as a living entity that evolves over time. By incorporating indoor planters and feature walls inspired by natural contours, we ensure that your residence remains a place of rejuvenation. Whether you are looking for a modern urban oasis in Bengaluru or a climate-responsive farmhouse in the Nilgiris, our team collaborates closely with you to translate your energy into physical form.
