Lush Tropical Residences: Where Architecture Meets Nature
We design homes that breathe, integrating courtyards and lush gardens to create a serene, resort-like experience that blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor living.
Introducing SIRI, a home filled with an abundance of joy, light, and intimate spaces nestled in nature. This is my vision of modern tropical architecture.
The entrance to the Siri residence is revealed behind massive corten steel gates, hinting at the tropical sanctuary and unique architectural drama that lies within.
The floating steps of the entrance are designed to follow the natural slope of the land, flanked by existing coconut trees that were carefully preserved during construction.

The stone-clad walls and dense greenery create a rich textural experience right from the moment you approach the Siri residence.
The imposing corten steel gates of the Siri residence, which feature custom-etched patterns, swing open to welcome you into a private world.

About Lush Tropical Residences
When designing these tropical residences, we prioritize the transition from the street to your sanctuary. At the Siri residence, for instance, we preserved existing coconut trees and used floating concrete steps to guide you naturally into the home. It is about how the entrance, defined by raw corten steel and rubble stone, immediately shifts your mood and lowers the noise of the city before you even open the door.
True tropical architecture in a city like Bengaluru is about managing light, ventilation, and privacy through intelligent building orientation. We use bioclimatic principles to ensure your home remains cool and airy throughout the day, often utilizing central courtyards or water bodies to passively regulate indoor temperatures.
Our approach involves selecting materials that age gracefully in our climate. We favour honest, raw textures like weather-resistant corten steel, rough-cut stone, and salvaged wood. These materials connect the building to its environment, making the house feel like it has always belonged to the land.
In our 'Siri' project, the corten steel gate is not just a security feature. Its laser-cut, nature-inspired patterns act as a canvas for light and shadow, changing in character as the sun moves. Behind this, the koi pond and the integration of existing coconut trees serve a dual purpose, creating a calming visual focus while naturally cooling the entry space. We design these elements so that the 'tropical' feel isn't just an aesthetic choice, but a functional, comfortable way to live. Whether it is a double-height lounge that draws out hot air or deep overhangs that protect against harsh afternoon sun, every detail is engineered to make your home feel like a private, lush retreat.
