About Pillars, Doorways & Pooja Mandapams

For our 8-foot Chettinad pillars, we craft them in three interlocking parts, the base, shaft, and capital, to ensure safe transit. You will need a local carpenter to perform the final mortise and tenon joinery on-site, a standard procedure for these traditional elements that ensures they stand sturdy against your floor and ceiling.

This is a wide view of the Hampi-inspired temple mandap my team and I constructed. The design features intricately carved pillars, a rich red fabric ceiling, and sparkling chandeliers to create a sacred space that feels both grand and deeply traditional.22
