Every dog that walks into Second Home becomes a part of our parivaar. Whether they are tiny puppies or big, fluffy seniors, seeing them happy, relaxed, and playing together is what my life is all about.

Two Golden Retrievers, double the smiles, double the happiness.

A beautiful German Shepherd mix, looking right into the camera.

Our personalized alarm clocks. The Huskies make sure we are up on time for their breakfast.

A welcome video from our pack, featuring a very cute German Shepherd puppy.

Two puppies sleeping in the most adorable positions after a long day of play.

Two friends, a Himalayan Shepherd and an Indie, enjoying the sun on the cool-down cot.

About this collection

You might notice that every dog in these photos looks relaxed, whether they are napping on a bed or playing on the terrace. That is because we do not use cages. Dogs here learn to exist as a pack, which keeps them disciplined and calm. If you are worried about how your dog will adjust to a new environment, just know that we do not rush the process. We let them settle in at their own speed.

When I started Second Home, I had one rule: no cages. Traditional kennels can be stressful for many dogs, and I believe they deserve a real home environment. In our HSR Layout and Parappana Agrahara facilities, your dog is a guest, not a prisoner. We focus heavily on pack dynamics. When new dogs join, we monitor them closely to ensure everyone is comfortable.

Whether it is a high-energy Husky or a shy Indie, we ensure they have plenty of space to roam, soft furniture to sleep on, and a human nearby 24/7. My team and I are always on the floor, giving cuddles and attention. We follow a steady routine: eat, sleep, play, and repeat. This structure helps even the most anxious dogs feel secure. We provide home-cooked, healthy meals—never factory stuff—and give them the kind of individual attention they would get at home. If you want a place where your dog is treated like one of my own, you have found it.

I am Prakash, but my friends and the families here call me 'the dog dad'. I have spent over six years making sure every dog that walks through my doors feels safe and loved, just like one of my own bachhas.
