At the Indian Centre for Ventriloquism and Puppetry (ICVP) in Chembur, I aim to demystify this craft. What You Will Learn
- Ventriloquism Basics: We start with the fundamentals of voice production. You will learn how to produce the ventriloquial voice and the techniques of voice throwing without moving your lips.
- Puppet Operation: It is not just about the voice. You will learn how to operate different types of puppets, understanding the wrist movements and timing required to make a puppet look alive.
- DIY Puppet Making: Rujuta, my partner in life and in these workshops, brings her expertise as a preschool teacher to lead the craft section. Participants get to build their own sock puppets, learning the anatomy of character design along the way.
