High-Fashion and Avant-Garde Makeup in Mumbai
I bring high-concept editorial ideas to life. From graphic liners to bold texture play, I work with the camera to make your vision stand out.
A creative beauty portrait featuring vibrant red eyeshadow and a matching bold lip. I added a graphic hair element across the face to create an artistic, avant-garde makeup statement.
For this high-fashion concept, the theme was gold. I created a dramatic, sparkling gold eyeshadow look that catches the light, paired with a strong, sculpted face against a rich red background.
An experimental editorial look using in-camera motion blur effects. The makeup features glossy lips and defined eyes, designed to look striking even when distorted for an artistic photo.
A dark, gothic-inspired fashion look. The makeup is intense and dramatic, with heavily defined eyes and pale skin to create a high-contrast, vintage couture style.
This editorial makeup features a block of bold blue pigment across the forehead. It's a conceptual look that plays with color placement for a modern, high-fashion effect.
An edgy look combining intricate hair styling with a dark, smoky eye. The makeup is designed to complement the unconventional hairstyle, creating a cohesive and provocative editorial image.
A close-up on a metallic blue and black smoky eye. This look showcases my technique in blending bold pigments for a multi-dimensional effect, perfect for creative beauty stories.

Another angle of the creative beauty look with red eyeshadow and a bold lip. This shot highlights the clean lines and precise application required for high-impact editorial makeup.
A beauty shoot focused on achieving a dewy, glowing finish on dark skin. The makeup is minimal yet radiant, highlighting the model's natural features for a sophisticated editorial portrait.
About High-Fashion & Avant-Garde
I don't just apply makeup; I sync with the lighting and the photographer’s vision. Whether we are using graphic liners, metallic pigments, or mixed media, the focus is on texture that reads perfectly under studio strobes without causing flashback. I plan the look to survive the full shoot day, keeping the base fresh while I manage constant touch-ups for every change in pose or outfit.
Creative editorial makeup is about more than just looking good—it’s about looking right for the camera. My work in this space is heavily collaborative. Before the shoot, we look at the mood board, understand the lighting setup, and decide which products will hold up.
For avant-garde projects, I use advanced techniques like graphic liners, geometric shapes, and texture play. I often use mixing mediums like Inglot Duraline to turn pigments into long-wearing paint, allowing for that wet or high-gloss look that doesn't slide off during a long day under hot lights.
If we are doing a conceptual story, I don't stop at the face. I can extend the makeup to the neck, shoulders, and arms to match the skin tone and theme, using alcohol-activated paints that won't smudge on clothes.
I also focus heavily on the base. High-fashion photography requires skin that looks real but perfect. I use professional HD foundations like Kryolan TV Paint Sticks or MAC Studio Fix, set with heavy-duty sprays to ensure the makeup looks the same in the first shot as it does in the last. Whether it's a gritty, gothic look or a clean, editorial beauty portrait, I make sure the technical foundation is solid so the creative elements can shine.
