Conceptualizing Your Vision

Editorial makeup is where I let my creative side take over. Unlike bridal work which focuses on a specific cultural ceremony, editorial work is about telling a story through the lens. Whether you have a clear mood board or just a vibe you want to capture, I work with you to plan the color palette, skin finish, and hair texture that will pop in your final photographs.

The Technical Side

Photography changes everything. A look that seems perfect in the mirror might look flat on camera. My approach involves:

• Lighting Sensitivity: I adjust the intensity of contour and highlighter based on whether we are shooting in natural light or harsh studio strobes.
• Texture Control: For high-fashion shots, skin texture matters. I use high-definition techniques that blur imperfections while keeping the skin looking like skin, not plastic.
