This is one of my favorite creations, a Groovy Daisy crossbody bag. It’s a perfect example of how traditional crochet techniques like granny squares can be used to make something modern and fun. In my classes, we can work on projects just like this.

This is the famous 'Virus Shawl', and it's one of the most rewarding projects to complete. The intricate, lacy pattern looks complex, but I guide my students through each step to create their own gorgeous, flowing shawl using self-striping yarn.

I designed this Chevron Tulip Bag to be both beautiful and practical. It’s a great project for learning the chevron stitch and construction techniques. We can make this together in my crochet bag workshop.

For absolute beginners

My Jan 2025 beginner offer is "Zero to Pro in 8 sessions". It is self-paced. Every session ends with a fun project.

My published Basic Crochet Course for Beginners outline covers chain, single, double and treble crochet. It includes reading crochet charts and patterns, working in rows and rounds, joining squares and crochet ribbing.

The outline lists a coin/hook pouch, headband, scarf, coaster, hat with ribbing, mandala, granny square pouch and flowers. This is an undated outline, not a guaranteed project list for the eight-session offer.

Personal coaching and themed learning

I teach in English, Hindi and Marathi. Weekend batches are for working women, and my coaching has an individualised syllabus.

I also offer advanced courses and a Crochet Bags workshop. My Chevron Tulip Bag is part of that workshop. My beginner tutorials show three ways to make a slip knot, plus chain stitch and single crochet.
