Hands-On Learning & Creative Arts for Preschoolers
We believe children learn best by doing. Our curriculum moves past textbooks to focus on sensory exploration, fine motor skills, and cultural discovery through daily creative play.
Our young artists explore heritage crafts like traditional Hand Block Printing. This activity not only enhances their creativity and fine motor skills but also connects them to India's rich artisanal traditions, as they press and stamp beautiful patterns.
We introduce our children to global cultures through art, such as 'Ikebana', the Japanese art of flower arrangement. This calming activity teaches them about balance, harmony, and the beauty of nature as they create their own stunning floral pieces.
On Hindi Diwas, we celebrate our matribhasha (mother tongue) with joyful activities. Our children discover the beauty of the Devanagari script by gleefully tracing letters and their names, connecting them to the language of our cultural soul.
Our "Colour of the Week" themes make learning vibrant and fun. During 'Ravishing Red' week, children engage in show-and-tell with red objects and listen to stories like 'Little Red Riding Hood', reinforcing color recognition through immersive play.
Welcome to 'Groovy Green' week, where our preschoolers explore the color green through every activity. From dressing up as green veggies to listening to parrot stories, we make learning about colors an exciting and memorable experience.
The monsoon season inspires a splash of creativity at our preschool. Here, our little artists are making colorful umbrella art using finger painting, a wonderful sensory activity that celebrates the beauty of the rains.
Rainy days are for cozy storytelling and themed crafts. Our monsoon activities include stories about frogs and snails, followed by creative sessions where children draw and craft their favorite rainy-day creatures.
Every day is an opportunity to play, learn, and grow. Our play-based curriculum encourages children to explore, discover, and express themselves through a variety of activities like puzzles, block building, and art projects.
Fun and play are at the heart of everything we do. Our classrooms are filled with a mix of creative arts, Montessori tools, and interactive toys that encourage independent discovery and make learning a joyful experience.
We love getting creative with hands-on art projects. This handprint camel craft is a perfect example of how we combine fun, learning, and sensory play to help children develop their imagination and fine motor skills.
About Hands-On Learning & Creative Arts
At Sangeet Bharati, we swap rote learning for messy, purposeful play. When your child joins our morning sessions in Mandi House, they are not just sitting in a classroom. They are tracing Devanagari letters with rice, mixing colours with their fingers, or tending to mint and tomatoes in our organic garden. This approach allows them to develop physical coordination and curiosity naturally, without the pressure of typical academic expectations.
Our curriculum centers on the idea that young minds absorb the world through their senses. By integrating Montessori-inspired activities with Indian cultural traditions, we create an environment where children aged 2 to 4 years learn to solve problems and express themselves.
Sensory and Skill Development
From block printing to finger painting, we focus on tactile experiences. These activities are essential for developing fine motor skills, which form the foundation for writing and self-reliance later on. By using tools like puzzles and clay, children learn focus and spatial awareness.
Cultural Roots
We incorporate elements like Hindi Diwas and festival crafts to build a connection with the child's matribhasha (mother tongue) and traditions. Whether it is making eco-friendly diyas for Diwali or learning basic Indian classical dance mudras, these lessons teach cultural appreciation early. We ensure that culture is something the child lives rather than just reads about.
Practical Learning and Environment
Our flameless cooking sessions or garden tasks serve a purpose beyond fun. They teach kids about textures, measurements, and responsibility. Because we operate in small batches with a 1:10 teacher-student ratio, every child receives the space to follow their own rhythm.
We provide all necessary materials, from paints to craft supplies, within our campus infrastructure. Our day runs from 9 AM to 1 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible flow that includes outdoor time in our Mandi House playground. We prioritize safety and hygiene, supported by our dedicated staff, ensuring a secure transition from home to school.
Sangeet Bharati
We are Sangeet Bharati, where we mix traditional values with modern, play-based learning. Our Mandi House campus is a home for early learners who want to explore, get messy with paint, and connect with their roots. We focus on the child as a whole person, ensuring they feel confident and curious from their very first day.
