Meet the Coach: Shihan Sunil Saini

Most academies focus on teaching steps, but I look for the spark to turn students into athletes. As an official selector and Team India captain, I don't just train you in the dojo. I identify, mentor, and frequently sponsor students who show the talent to compete at district, state, and national levels.

Karate is more than physical movement; it is a discipline that builds character, focus, and self-belief. When I started Sai Karate Academy in Gurgaon, my goal was to create a structured path for anyone willing to put in the work, whether you are four years old or forty.

My approach is built on two decades of experience, from being the India Team Captain to acting as an official selector for major events like the Khelo India University Games. I bring this real-world, high-stakes experience directly into our classes in Sector 5 and Sector 15. We don't just practice Kihon (basics) and Kumite (sparring) in isolation. We follow WKF-affiliated standards because I want my students to have a clear roadmap, whether they are training for fitness or planning a career in competitive sports.
