About Join Us: For Kids, Adults, and Families
Choosing the right training environment matters for your long-term progress. We group students by their skill level rather than just age, ensuring beginners learn the fundamentals of Kihon properly while advanced students can focus on Kumite and competition preparation.
Our training methodology at Sai Karate Academy revolves around the concept of 'khud pe bharosa' or self-belief. We operate two branches in Gurugram, located in Sector 5 and Sector 15, making it convenient for families across the city.
Our Training Approach
We believe in a structured path for every student:
- Kihon (Basics): We start here to build your foundation. Repetitive drilling of stances, punches, and blocks is non-negotiable for safety and technique.
- Kata (Forms): This helps with muscle memory and mental focus. It is effectively an imaginary fight that trains your body to react instinctively.
- Kumite (Sparring): Once you have the basics, we introduce controlled sparring to build your timing and strategy. We ensure a safe environment, specifically for those interested in competitive karate.

Unlike many gyms, we welcome everyone from age four to forty. We see many families training together, which fosters a supportive environment. Our sessions include bodyweight conditioning, flexibility training, and guided meditation to improve concentration.
