As an instructor, your body is your resume. Here is how I train, lift, and challenge myself to stay versatile and be a better coach for you.

Hitting a new personal record on my deadlift at 129 kgs. I'm always working on polishing the small details to unlock new levels of strength. This discipline is something I bring to my Zumba coaching as well.

I have a love-hate relationship with Power Snatches. Here I am working on my form at iThink CrossFit. Pushing my own limits in the gym helps me understand the fitness journey of my students better.

Today's lesson was "don't look down," and it made a huge difference in my rope climbs. I'm always a student, learning new skills and techniques under the watchful eye of my own coaches.

Working on new skills with ring exercises at my CrossFit box. Trying new things and building functional strength is a key part of my personal fitness philosophy.

A look at the team series competition at iThink CrossFit. I love the challenge and camaraderie of working out with a team, pushing through tough WODs that include everything from burpees to box jumps.

About this collection

People often ask me why a Zumba teacher spends so much time at the CrossFit box. It is simple. Training at iThink CrossFit helps me understand the same frustrations and plateaus my students face when learning new rhythms. Whether it is hitting a deadlift PR or mastering a rope climb, the discipline remains the same. You have to be coachable, you have to embrace the struggle, and you have to keep moving. I bring this exact mindset into every certification course I run.

Being a fitness professional is about longevity. If you want to build a career in this industry, you cannot rely on just one skill set. My training at the box, whether it is working on ring exercises or power snatches, keeps me humble and reminds me what it feels like to be a beginner again. This is the perspective I bring to my mentorship.

Why I Train Like This

When I am helping a new instructor break down a Salsa or Bhangra rhythm, I am not just teaching steps. I am teaching them how to manage their body, how to maintain intensity, and how to stay present. My CrossFit sessions with my coaches remind me that every great performance is built on boring, repetitive, and essential basics. If I can learn to stop looking down during a rope climb, you can learn to lead your class with confidence even when you are tired.

The Reality of the Industry

I share my journey because the fitness industry in India gets very real very soon. There are many quick-fix solutions and misleading trends. My goal is to help you bulletproof yourself against self-doubt. When you train with me, you are not just getting a Zumba license. You are getting access to my real-world experience in Namma Bengaluru and beyond. We talk about the sweat, the stage presence, and the actual business of being an instructor. If you are ready to be a student again, learn the real gyaan, and grow your community, let us get to work. Kannada kaliri (learn Kannada), bring your A-game, and let us build your fitness path together.
