About Milestone Memories (3-12 Months)
I design these sessions around your baby's energy levels, not a clock. Whether it is a 3-month tummy time shot or a 9-month sitter session, we keep the studio warm and quiet, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and playtime. My goal is to capture those genuine giggles and curious expressions without ever forcing a pose.
Babies do not just grow; they transform every single month. My milestone sessions are created to document this evolutionâfrom the 3-month phase where they hold their head up, to the 6-month sitter stage, and finally the crawling and walking stages leading up to their first birthday.
Why Milestone Sessions Matter
It is easy to snap pictures on your phone, but these professional sessions offer something different: intentional, distraction-free portraits. By using soft, natural lighting and curated sets, we ensure the focus remains entirely on your baby.
The HSR Layout Studio Experience
My studio is temperature-controlled and prepped specifically for infants. I keep a variety of wraps, bonnets, and outfits ready, so you do not need to stress about coordinating clothing or props.
- 3-4 Months: We focus on tummy time and those first social smiles.
- 6-9 Months: This is the 'sitter' phase. Your baby is likely sitting up, grabbing their feet, and showing real personality. We use props like rustic crates or floral setups to complement their new skills.
- 10-12 Months: As they start crawling or standing, we shift to more dynamic poses.
Every session includes family portraits. I strongly believe in documenting the bond between you and your child. These are not just photos for social media; they are heirlooms.
