Milestone Photography Sessions: Capturing Your Baby’s Growth

The first year is a blur of rapid changes. One month you are holding a tiny newborn, and in the blink of an eye, they are sitting up, grabbing their toes, and trying to crawl across the living room floor. I created these milestone sessions for those specific stages—typically around 3, 6, and 9 months—to document the growth that happens in the quiet moments between the big celebrations.

My approach is to keep things natural. I bring the studio to your house, which means your baby stays in their safe, familiar environment. This is vital because a comfortable baby is a happy baby, and we want to capture their authentic personality, not a forced smile. I provide milestone discs, textured blankets, and simple props that add a layer of detail without distracting from your child.

However, this is very much a team effort. If your baby needs a break, a feed, or a quick cuddle, we stop. My milestone photography sessions are structured around your baby’s mood and rhythm. We might spend some time with the wooden milestone markers, but we will also spend time simply playing on the floor or the bed.
