About Baby's First Year Milestones
The best window for a sitter session is when your baby can sit up comfortably but isn't crawling away just yet, usually between 6 to 9 months. This is when their personality really starts to shine, and we get those priceless gummy smiles without them zooming off on us. It's a short window, so planning around their nap schedule is the secret to getting the best photos.
Why These Months Matter
Between 4 and 9 months, babies change almost weekly. At 4-6 months, we often focus on those first interactions and expressions. By 6-9 months, they are mastering the art of sitting, which opens up a whole new set of posing possibilities. Whether it’s a half-birthday shoot or a sitter session, my goal is to keep the focus entirely on your baby.
My Whitefield Studio
My studio in Whitefield is designed to be a calm, controlled space where your baby feels safe and comfortable. We avoid loud distractions so that the focus stays on the baby. I provide all the props—from soft crates and miniature beds to themed backgrounds for special occasions like a half-birthday.
What to Expect
We prioritize comfort. If your little one gets tired or hungry, we pause. These sessions are not about rigid posing; they are about capturing the 'perfect chaos' of being a baby.
