Our Design Process: From Concept to Completion
Great spaces are built on clear communication and careful planning. Here is how we turn your vision into a home that truly reflects your lifestyle.
Site visits are where ideas take shape. It is where materials, layouts, and moodboards start turning into real walls and finishes. This video shows me on-site, checking progress, reviewing installations, and troubleshooting to bring the design off the page.
Behind every beautiful space is a team that dreams, debates, and designs together. This video gives a glimpse into the collaboration, chaos, and creativity that happens at the studio to get to the final reveal.
Behind every perfect space is a journey of inspiration and creativity. This video shows the process of building a moodboard, from selecting paint swatches and material samples to fabric books and technical drawings.
This is a glimpse behind the scenes at my office. A day in my life involves everything from sorting through fabric swatches and material samples to obsessing over the tiniest shade of off-white to bring a client's vision to life.
Design is not a solo job. My team is the backbone of every project, and we are always brainstorming ideas together, reviewing plans, and ensuring every detail is considered.
You cannot design luxury without getting a little dust on you. Site visits are my favorite days, where I get to see the progress firsthand, like this kitchen with its newly installed cabinetry, and ensure the quality of execution.
A space you will actually want to come home to starts here, with the moodboard. This collection of textures, colors, and finishes captures the essence of a project before construction even begins.

This video captures the journey of the Auburn project, from its raw beginnings as a construction site to a thoughtfully designed and fully furnished space.
About Our Process: From Vision to Reality
Site visits are where ideas really start to breathe. You will see us on-site, troubleshooting layout flows and checking the exact finish of a veneer, because the difference between a good room and a sanctuary is in these small, critical decisions made during construction.
We do not just hand over a concept and walk away. Our work is a journey that moves from your initial vision to the final, livable reality.
The Discovery Phase
It starts with a conversation. We want to know how you live, what habits matter, and what you feel is missing in your current space. We build mood boards that capture your personality, testing textures, colors, and lighting ideas until everything feels right. This is where we define the visual language of your home.
Technical Planning
Before we build, we plan. We create detailed GFC (Good for Construction) drawings that cover every inch of your space. This includes civil and electrical layouts, false ceiling designs, and joinery details. By the time we start, we know exactly where every light switch, partition, and storage unit goes. This phase is crucial for ensuring that your renovation project stays on track and within the planned budget.
Site Execution and Management
This is where we get our hands dirty. We manage the entire process, from sourcing premium materials to overseeing the skilled craftsmen on-site. We are there to solve problems in real-time, whether it is adjusting a furniture layout to improve flow or ensuring that a specific wood finish matches the surrounding palette. Our goal is to handle the complexity so you can focus on the final reveal, knowing every detail has been handled with care.
Sage Haus
We are Sage Haus. We started with the idea that a home should feel like you, not a showroom. We love the messy bits—mood boards, sketches, and those loud team debates that lead to the perfect idea.
