About Additional Work
When we design experimental pieces like double-layered jackets or exaggerated organza sleeves, our focus is on structural integrity. We use specific stiffeners and double lining because these designs must maintain their shape throughout a long wedding day or evening event. This is always a collaborative process, where we test the drape on your frame during the initial fitting to ensure the silhouette sits perfectly with your specific saree.

This collection serves as a showcase for our broader design capabilities beyond traditional blouses. At our Ganganagar studio, we often receive requests that require a departure from the conventional. Whether it is an inquiry about turning an inherited Kanjeevaram into a contemporary two-piece set or creating a modern bodice with unexpected fabric layering, our process remains rooted in slow fashion principles.
The Anatomy of Our Work
- Fabric Fusion: We frequently experiment by mixing textiles. You will find combinations of raw silk with organza or velvet with jacquard, specifically chosen to complement the weight of your saree.
- Structural Details: Every piece is created with functional comfort in mind. We use concealed zippers, high-density padding, and careful seam finishing so that even the most dramatic back designs are comfortable to wear for hours.
- Design Collaboration: We do not rely on a fixed catalogue. If you have an idea, we sketch it out, discuss the feasibility of the fabric, and adjust the pattern to ensure the fit is impeccable.
We encourage clients to bring their own sarees or materials if they wish to repurpose them. Our goal is to create ensembles that feel like an extension of your personality, ensuring that your outfit is as unique as the story behind the fabrics used.
