About Bespoke Bridal & Festive Wear
What We Stand For
We’re Kavya and Pooja, and Sacaru is all about understated elegance. We don’t chase trends - we create thoughtful pieces you’ll hold on to, whether it’s for your shaadi (wedding) or a big family function. Everything here is slow fashion, with a focus on timeless style.
The Bespoke Way
There’s no picking from a lookbook. Every design starts from scratch, and we work together to make sure your outfit really feels like you. It’s a lot of conversations, sketches, and back-and-forth on fabrics till it just clicks. If you’ve got a vision, we’re here to bring it to life, or if you want to leave it to us, even better.
Weddings & More
- Customised bridal lehenga, cocktail saree-gowns, and mehendi outfits
- Coordinated bridesmaid dresses if you want your gang to match the vibe (and yeah, we do those fun floral organzas and bold silks)
- Not just for the bride - we also do festive wear, trousseau, and even repurpose your old Kanjeevaram or Benaras saree into something new
What Sets Us Apart
- Old-school hand-embroidery: zardosi, aari, sequins, pearls, French knots - you name it
- Unique motifs - think birds, florals, animals, all with a bit of whimsy
- Luxe fabrics like raw silk, organza, georgette, and brocade for that perfect drape
If you want something that’s truly yours, and not just another Insta trend, we’d love to co-create with you.

My Story
We’re Kavya and Pooja, and Sacaru is our labour of love. Indian textiles are kinda our thing – the silk, the brocade, all those stories woven in. We started Sacaru to keep those old-school threads alive, but with a twist for today’s women. We get a kick out of details, like a surprise pop of colour or the fall of a drape. Taking a stained vintage saree and turning it into a modern dress? That’s our jam. Fashion with soul, slow and conscious.
My Work
What We Do - Ethnic couture, custom bridal wear, Indo-Western outfits, cocktail dresses, made-to-order pret, upcycled saree dresses.
Slow Fashion, Always - We believe in making timeless pieces and upcycling vintage sarees into wearable art.
Obsessed With Details - Expect hand embroidery, zardosi, beadwork, and lots of mixing fabrics and textures.
Custom, Every Time - We collaborate with you - your ideas, our hands. Fit and feel are everything.
