My Fitness Philosophy: Health Ki Azaadi
Forget what you know about boring gym routines. Real wellness isn't just exercise—it's a mindset. Here is my take on how to take control of your health and live a big, meaningful life.
Health is everything. Without the number one, everything else is a zero. I always remind my students to make their health the top priority, and then family, money, and education will all fall into place.
I believe that exercise is the world's best medicine. If you take this one medicine, you will not need any others. A little movement every day makes the body strong and the mind calm. It is the true path to natural healing.
Do you ever forget to brush your teeth? Then why do we forget to exercise? I always say that you only realize the importance of health when you get sick. Do not wait for that day. Make exercise a non negotiable part of your life.
Many people think they cannot afford a healthy lifestyle, but I believe it is not about money, it is about your choices. We have made junk food a reward and healthy food boring. It is time to choose a healthy tomorrow for yourself.
People chase after expensive handbags and branded clothes, but the real brand is your health and your soul. I urge you to invest in yourself. A peaceful mind and a healthy body are the true luxuries in life.
Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mantra for the youth is "Fit raho, hit raho." He says that while you can inherit many things, you have to work for your own fitness. Are you paying attention to your health?
World chess champion Gukesh says his secret weapon is yoga and meditation for checkmate focus. This proves that a strong mind is crucial for success in any field. It is all a mind game.
Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma know that the mind gets tired, not the body. What you tell yourself mentally is what will happen. Whether in cricket or in life, a strong mind leads to a strong game.
Rajesh Khanna famously said that life should be big, not long. But I ask, why not both? Yoga helps you achieve a long health span and a great life. I started late, but I encourage you to start as soon as possible.
I believe in replacing bad habits with good ones. Swap Netflix marathons for sleep, junk food for homemade food, and complaining for gratitude. Take responsibility and choose action over overthinking.
About My Fitness Philosophy: Health Ki Azaadi
Most people chase quick fixes, but the real secret to health is replacing bad habits with intentional ones. In my coaching, we don't just do asanas; we look at your daily choices—what you eat, how you sleep, and what you feed your mind. Whether it’s swapping Netflix marathons for restorative sleep or replacing 'I can't afford it' with 'I can't afford to be sick', every small shift counts.
Why Your Mindset is Your First Workout
Many students come to me thinking yoga is just about flexibility. It’s not. It’s about Health Ki Azaadi (freedom of health). If you only focus on the body but ignore your diet, sleep, and mental state, you are just masking the problem.
My Three Pillars of Health:
- Habit Replacement: We don't just start working out. We swap Netflix for sleep and junk food for ghar ka khana (home-cooked food). If you can't control your habits, you can't control your health.
- Mind-Body Alignment: Using asanas, pranayama, and sound healing, we regulate your nervous system. This is how we address stress-induced ailments like high BP, indigestion, and chronic anxiety.
- Natural Healing: No meds, just patience. We use specific medical yoga protocols and acupressure to help you manage issues like back pain or thyroid naturally.
It’s About Choices
You have a choice every day. You can spend money on hospital bills later, or invest in your shareer (body) now. My mentorship isn't just 60 minutes on a mat; it’s about tracking your daily lifestyle and making sure you’re actually making progress. Whether you are dealing with PCOD or just feeling 'meh' all the time, this approach helps you take back control. Let’s get to work.
