About Dancing with the Coach
These aren't just choreographed routines for the camera. When I dance with my students, it’s about breaking that barrier between coach and trainee. It builds confidence for kids who are shy and creates a safe, judgment-free space for women to just let go, laugh, and own the floor without worrying about perfection.
Why these duets? They show my students that I am in the trenches with them. For the kids at our Vikaspuri and Paschim Vihar studios, seeing their coach sweating and dancing alongside them makes the workout feel less like a rigid exercise session and more like play.
We focus on trending Bollywood steps and high-energy Bhangra beats, adding our own 'Route to Fitnness' twist to keep things fresh. It is not about perfect technique; it is about the vibe, the sweat, and the shared energy.
Our sessions are structured to be effective yet inclusive:
- Warm-up: We start with 15 minutes of aerobics or light drills to get the heart rate up.
- Choreography: We spend 40 minutes working on a full song routine, breaking it down so everyone can follow along.
- Cool-down: We wrap up with 5 minutes of yoga-based stretching to relax the muscles.
