About Groom's Sherwanis: The Royal Look
Getting your sherwani right isn't just about the fabric; it's about the fit. I personally handle two rounds of trials—a raw trial for the structure and a final one for the finish—so your outfit fits your shoulders and posture exactly, rather than being pulled off a rack.
A wedding sherwani has to feel like your second skin. When you visit my studio in Mira Road, we start by talking about your vision. Are you looking for a regal off-white look for a traditional ceremony, or perhaps a modern open-sherwani in velvet for your sangeet?
My process focuses on construction that lasts. Whether we’re working with premium velvet or art raw silk, I ensure the internal structure holds its shape through long wedding ceremonies. For embroidery, I don’t rely on generic designs; we incorporate Zardosi work, threadwork, and sequins based on what complements your personality.
**Common Questions:
- What’s included in the price? My sherwani ensembles (starting from ₹28,000) are complete packages. You get the sherwani, the inner silk-blend kurta, the churidar or pyjama, the turban (safa), a stole with matching borders, and the groom's mala. You walk out ready to step onto the mandap.
- Can you coordinate with my partner? Yes. Bringing a fabric swatch of your bride's outfit is a great idea. We can match the embroidery tones or the stole color to ensure your palettes align perfectly for those wedding photos.
- What if I need it urgently? While bespoke work takes time for those two essential trials, I also keep select ready-to-wear pieces and accessories in the studio for last-minute needs.
Whether it's a navy blue Nawabi style or a vibrant red textured set, I’m here to ensure you don’t just wear an outfit, you wear an impression.
