The Art and Process Behind My Henna
A glimpse into my studio where the magic happens, from my organic henna preparation to the nurturing space where I teach my students.
The process of making 100 fresh, organic henna cones. Quality is everything in henna art, and I take great pride in preparing my own materials to ensure the best results for my clients and students.
A moment of reflection. I feel positive and passionate about my work, and I believe that attitude is the most important tool for any artist and teacher.
About this collection
You might see the beautiful dark stain on a bride’s hands, but the real magic starts days before, in my studio. I hand-roll every single henna cone using a custom blend of triple-sifted Rajasthani powder, sugar, and organic essential oils like eucalyptus. It is a slow, meditative process, but it ensures that every line I draw or teach is safe, natural, and consistent. This dedication to quality materials is exactly what I pass on to my students.
Teaching is my bhakti, my devotion. My classes are not just about showing you how to draw, it is about guiding your hand and your heart. In my Dombivli studio, we start with the fundamentals on paper templates—mastering cone pressure and line clarity—before moving to skin. Whether you are learning basic Arabic strokes or complex bridal portraits, I am right there with you, creating a space where we can mess up, laugh, and grow together.
My work behind the scenes is as much about people as it is about henna. I believe that every bride is a celebrity and every student is a star. That is why I personally handle the cone mixology and construction, ensuring that my students learn the science of henna alongside the art. By the time you complete a course, you are not just repeating patterns, you are ready to create your own professional designs for shaadi, sagai, or godh bharai ceremonies. When I am not teaching, I am out in the community, applying these designs and celebrating happy moments. My goal is to share this craft in its purest, most natural form, helping you connect with a tradition that is truly my jaan.
