About Live Concerts & Public Performances
Why I Play: Music for the Mind
For me, the sitar isn’t just about tunes or tradition. It’s about healing - for you, for me, for whoever needs a little calm. I started 'Sitar for Mental Health' to create a space where music does more than entertain. It helps us deal with the mad rush of life, one city at a time. Every concert is my way of sharing what my Guru, Pt. Ravi Shankar, taught me - music is medicine.
What Happens at My Gigs
You won’t just sit and watch. We start slow, with some stillness - meditation and pranayama, sometimes with the deep sound of the Surbahar. Once the mind’s settled, the sitar takes over. Think soulful ragas, a bit of fusion, jazz, even blues. The second half? We shift gears – full-on celebration mode. Sometimes you’ll catch me blending in Game of Thrones or Harry Potter themes, or jamming to Bollywood classics. It’s always a mix, never stiff.
The Vibe & My Style
My roots are Indian classical, but I’m not shy to play around. Expect sawal-jawab (musical banter) with my tabla player, my own tracks from 'Navaras,' spiritual chants, and spontaneous fusion sitar performances. One night it’s a candle-lit hall, another time a massive crowd – but I keep the energy real, grounded, always about connecting.
If you want an interactive live music experience that’s got both old-school soul and a bit of madness, this is it.

My Story
I miss you, Guruji. Every note I play is a piece of your wisdom, and my family—my dad crafting sitars, my mom singing with me—is my backbone. My grandmother, she was all about deshbhakti (love for country). That’s in me, whether I’m jamming in Delhi or vibing in Nepal. My music is for the homeland, for the mitti (soil) I come from. Jai Hind.
My Work
Sitar for Mental Health Experience - I blend Indian classical with world music, using sitar for mental health and inner peace.
Immersive Concerts & Guided Meditation - My shows mix soulful ragas, guided meditation, and moments to reflect. It’s a healing space.
Indian Classical Fusion & Spiritual Roots - I fuse tradition with tech—think sitar covers of 'Zara Zara', Shiv Tandav Stotram, and deep spiritual ragas.
