I don't just pick outfits; I build entire universes for the screen. From futuristic sci-fi looks to gritty action gear, I craft costumes that tell a story before a single word is spoken.

This is the official trailer for the Bollywood blockbuster *Jawan*. I was part of the costume design team that created the diverse looks for this high action film, from military gear to civilian outfits seen in the various dramatic scenes.

A teaser for the film *Jawan*, which was a massive project to be a part of. My work involved helping to create the visual identity for many of the characters you see on screen.

A poster for the Tamil movie *Killer*. I designed these coordinated, action ready outfits for actors SJ Suryah and Preethi Asrani, featuring crisp white shirts and shoulder holsters to fit the film's spy thriller aesthetic.

Another powerful poster from the movie *Killer*. The styling here focuses on a dramatic, high contrast look with a sharp black suit, a bold red tie, and a red dress for the co-star, all set against a vibrant red background.

This is the teaser for the futuristic Tamil film *Love Insurance Kompany*. I helped design the costumes to build this unique world set in the year 2040, blending contemporary styles with imaginative, forward thinking elements.

A full length view of the costumes I designed for the *Love Insurance Kompany* poster. This shot showcases the AI inspired, sheer overdress with neon yellow grid detailing on actress Krithi Shetty, and a layered, streetwear look for Pradeep Ranganathan.

A closer look at the character styling for the movie *LIK*. I designed Krithi Shetty's modern outfit with a yellow high neck top and a sheer overlay, and a casual, layered denim jacket look for Pradeep Ranganathan.

For this *Love Insurance Kompany* poster, I designed a playful and futuristic look for Krithi Shetty. The costume features a metallic silver mini dress, white ankle boots, and a sheer top, set against a vibrant, surreal pink backdrop.

This is the poster for the song "Dheema" from the film *LIK*. I styled the cast in vibrant, coordinated outfits that match the romantic and energetic mood of the musical number.

A glimpse into the world of *LIK*. This poster highlights the character styling, showing the male lead in a cool, layered jacket with sunglasses and the female lead in a soft, pastel colored top.

About Film Costume Design: Building Worlds

When we start a film project, the first step isn't sketching; it's script breakdown and material testing. I don't believe in off-the-rack solutions for cinema because lighting and camera angles change everything. Whether we are distressing leather for a spy thriller or sourcing neon vinyl for a sci-fi look, I personally oversee the fabric choices to ensure the textures look authentic on 4K cameras. You're not just getting a stylist; you're getting a team that manages continuity, fittings, and emergency repairs on-set so your shoot never stops.

Films are my playground. Every project starts with a vibe—a specific feeling we need to capture—and my job is to translate that feeling into something the audience can see and touch. My approach to film costume design isn't just about fashion; it's about character-driven storytelling.

My Process: From Script to Screen

  • Script Analysis: I sit with the director to break down the narrative arc. If a character evolves from gritty to polished, the wardrobe needs to reflect that trajectory visually.
  • Material Scouting: I hunt for fabrics that behave well under studio lights. Sometimes that means scouring wholesale markets for industrial-grade vinyl or hand-painting denim to get the perfect level of wear for a stunt scene.
  • On-Set Continuity: A movie shoot is chaotic. My team handles the continuity, ensuring sleeve rolls, collar positions, and accessory placements stay identical across every single take, whether it's an action sequence or a slow-motion shot.

I’ve worked on everything from the high-octane gear seen in Jawan to the specific, futuristic silhouettes in Love Insurance Kompany. Whether you are building a period drama or a surreal sci-fi world, I bring the same level of obsession to the details. We handle the sourcing, the fittings, and the hands-on fabrication so your talent feels comfortable and your vision hits the screen exactly as you imagined it. Let's talk about the world you're trying to build. 🖤
