About Homemade Indian Sweets & Desserts
Why I Make Sweets
Making mithai is my way of keeping old-school flavors alive. I don’t use shortcuts or pre-made mixes. Every sweet is made fresh, only after you order, so you get that real homemade taste and longer shelf life.
What I Make
- Laddoos are my bestsellers. Besan Laddoo (sugar or jaggery, with almond crunch), Choorma Laddoo (grainy, Rajasthani style), Gond Laddoo (great for winters and new moms), and Rava Laddoo (Panchdhaari, less ghee).
- Barfi and Pak: Moong Daal Barfi (slow-roasted, rich), Mohanthal (danedaar texture, melts in your mouth), Adadiya Pak (nutritious, winter special).
- I also do healthy options: Dryfruit Laddoos (no sugar or jaggery, just dates), Ragi and Bajra Laddoos (gluten-free Indian desserts), Sattu Laddoos (high protein), and Methi Laddoos (good for elders and postpartum recovery sweets).
Customization
You can pick sugar or gur (jaggery) for many sweets. Not a fan of nuts? Want them ground for kids? Just tell me. I’m happy to try new twists if you have something in mind.
For Gifting & Festivals
My festive sweet boxes are popular for Diwali, Rakhi, Ganpati, or as travel gifts. Some, like Besan Laddoo, last long and travel well.
I keep it simple, honest, and rooted in tradition. If you want real, homemade mithai, that’s what I do.

My Story
Hey, I’m Raina. Cooking’s my happy place – hands messy, heart full. Winters in Mumbai? I’m all about amla for Chyawanprash, lemons for nimbu ka achaar, and those sweet red carrots for gajar ka halwa. No shortcuts here, only old-school recipes, pure ghee, and lots of experimenting. My regulars keep me on my toes – bajra laddoos, anyone? If it’s tasty and healthy, I’ll try it. That’s me.
