About this collection
Advanced Pilates is less about increasing speed and entirely about mastering control. Once you have the fundamentals, we introduce the Cadillac, Tower, and Wunda Chair to challenge your core and balance in ways the reformer alone cannot. This is where your body learns to move with genuine, quiet power.
Moving Beyond The Basics
When you move into our advanced sessions, the focus shifts. You are no longer just learning how to use the equipment. You are learning how to use your body to drive the machine. We utilize specialized apparatus like the Cadillac and Wunda Chair to provide resistance and support that forces you to engage deep stabilizing muscles.
The Role of Specialized Equipment
- Cadillac & Tower: These provide a vertical plane of movement. They allow for complex stretches and strengthening drills that are difficult to replicate on a standard floor mat or horizontal reformer.
- Wunda Chair: This is the ultimate test of core stability. It requires you to balance your body weight against spring resistance in various positions, from seated to standing.
- Tactile Feedback: Because we maintain a strict 1:1 or small-group ratio, I provide real-time adjustments. You will feel the difference between a movement performed with momentum and one performed with intentional muscular engagement.
