Tennis Fitness and Elite Physical Conditioning

A modern tennis player is more than just technique. We build the physical foundation, explosive power, and injury-proof bodies required to compete at the professional level.

Barbell rollouts are a key exercise for our athletes. This movement eccentrically stretches and strengthens the core, which is vital for stabilizing the body and delivering a powerful serve.

The Sorensen hold is an isometric exercise we use to build incredible back and core strength. A stable core is the foundation for every powerful shot a tennis player hits.

Staying low is crucial in tennis, and that requires serious quad strength. Our fitness coach explains how we use isometric holds, often with added resistance, to build the leg endurance needed to maintain a low center of gravity throughout a long match.

Trunk rotation is where a tennis player's power comes from. Our coach demonstrates how we use medicine balls and resistance bands to develop explosive rotational strength for forehands, backhands, and serves.

Deadlifts are a fundamental part of our strength training program. They build powerful legs, a strong back, and grip strength, all of which translate directly to more powerful shots and better stability on the court.

We push our athletes with lactate threshold training. This type of fatigue training simulates the grueling conditions of a tough match, teaching players how to perform and respond when their bodies are under extreme stress.

Recovery isn't optional, it's essential. Our players learn to recover like pros, using our dedicated recovery zones for ice baths, Epsom soaks, and hydrotherapy to prepare their bodies for the next day's grind.

About this collection

We go beyond standard gym workouts by using Vayu Technology to conduct biomechanical assessments on your vertical jump, agility, and gait health. This data reveals exactly where your power gaps are, so your sessions in our Yelahanka facility are as specific and targeted as your on-court practice.

Building the Complete Athlete

Tennis is a high-impact, lateral sport that demands a specific type of durability. At our academy, we treat physical conditioning as a pillar of your tennis game, not a secondary activity. We focus on:

  • Core and Posterior Chain Stability: We utilize isometric exercises like the Sorenson Hold to build back strength and barbell rollouts for core stability. A strong back is the foundation of every powerful serve and groundstroke.
  • Explosive Power: We incorporate plyometrics, including box jumps, to improve vertical explosive power and court coverage.
  • Lactate Threshold Training: We simulate the grueling conditions of a third-set tiebreak through fatigue training. By training your body to perform when it is already exhausted, we help you maintain focus and power during the most critical points of a match.

Recovery is Not Optional

The professional circuit is a grind. If you don't recover, you don't grow. We enforce strict recovery protocols that go beyond simple stretching. Our players utilize contrast baths, hydrotherapy, and ice baths to manage inflammation and accelerate muscle repair. We teach you to treat your body like the instrument it is.

Data-Backed Progression

We partner with Vayu Technology to remove the guesswork from your training. By tracking your agility, gait, and strength metrics over time, we can adjust your program to ensure you are consistently improving. Whether you are aiming for state-level dominance or the ITF circuit, our conditioning program ensures you have the physical capacity to back up your skill.
