From grassroots development to the professional circuit, our training program at the Padukone-Dravid Centre is built for athletes ready to commit to the grind.

This is the essence of our training philosophy. It's not about one perfect shot, but the relentless consistency and daily commitment that build a champion. We focus on the small wins that lead to powerful results on the court.

I started this academy to create a structured path for India's next generation of tennis stars. This video explains our vision: a complete ecosystem with integrated coaching, education, and boarding, designed to help young players progress from beginner programs to professional-level tennis.

Our High Performance Program Director, Dragan Bukumirovic, demonstrates one of our key strategic drills. We use methods like these rope drills to teach players court awareness, helping them understand exactly where to place the ball in both defensive and offensive situations.

A high-performance athlete is built both on and off the court. Here, our fitness coach outlines our comprehensive approach, which includes two fitness sessions daily and a structured recovery protocol with ice baths, nutrition guidance, and sleep monitoring to ensure players are always ready for the next challenge.

Our training is supported by world-class infrastructure. We have five floodlit, international-size hard courts, allowing our athletes to train day or night on professional-grade surfaces, simulating the conditions of top-tier tournaments.

We are honored to have the endorsement of Indian tennis legend Mahesh Bhupathi. He recognizes our academy as a unique facility in India that provides a complete ecosystem for professional tennis, including fitness, diet, mental strength, and recovery.

This is what we work for. Seeing our student, Darsh Khedekar, represent India and win on the international stage is the ultimate goal. We are incredibly proud to be a part of his journey to success.

About this collection

We operate on a system where recovery is as vital as the training itself. Every player undergoes two daily fitness sessions alongside their on-court work, with access to contrast baths and biomechanical stroke analysis. We don't just teach tennis; we build the conditioning required for tournament circuits where mental endurance determines the result.

At the Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy, we have removed the guesswork from professional development. We train at the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence in Yelahanka, using five floodlit, UTR-certified hard courts. Our curriculum is built for juniors competing at state, national, and ITF levels who need more than just drills.

We focus on the 'Dance, Split, Hit, Recover' footwork patterns, but the core of our program is periodization. During the off-season, we prioritize heavy conditioning and strength, while in-season training shifts toward tactical match play and court positioning. We use Vayu Technology for stroke analysis, ensuring technical adjustments are data-backed rather than guessed.

We know the path is tough. That is why we integrate sleep monitoring, high-protein nutrition plans, and a resident physio to handle injury prevention. For our residential program in Kanakapura, we combine this intensity with CBSE schooling, ensuring the academic journey does not suffer during tournament travel. This is for players who want to see how far they can go when they have the right system behind them.

I started this academy because I wanted to show our young players exactly what the pathway to the Grand Slam level looks like. We do not believe in shortcuts; we believe in structured, high-intensity training that prepares you for the realities of the professional circuit.
