Partner Acrobatics and Gymnastics Training
We use partner work and human pyramids to build real trust, coordination, and strength. See how my students learn to move together.
Trust is key in partner acrobatics. In this video, I am the base while my student practices her balance and stability. This is a great example of the hands-on coaching I provide in our kids' calisthenics classes.
This three-person pose requires balance from everyone involved. The student on top holds a prayer pose while being supported by her teammates, a common exercise in our acro-yoga sessions.
A great display of strength and flexibility from three of my students. One holds a steady handstand while the other two perform standing splits, all working together on the mat.
This video shows a double handstand, a challenging partner calisthenics move that requires perfect synchronization and core strength from both athletes.
Here I am working with a young student on an acro-yoga pose called the "bow pose on feet". This helps kids develop body awareness and trust in their partner.
Another partner stunt, with me as the base supporting a young gymnast. These exercises are a fun way to build serious strength and balance.
This is a playful two-person pose where one student holds a backbend while the other balances on top. It’s a fun drill we use to improve flexibility and partner coordination.
About this collection
We do not just teach kids how to hold a pose. Everything here is about contact, weight distribution, and timing. When two students form a pyramid, they learn that if one person loses focus, the formation drops. It forces them to be completely present and accountable to their partner, which builds better discipline than any solo drill could.
At The Rock Bull Academy of Arts, we move away from the 'gym culture' where everyone stays in their own lane. Our gymnastics and calisthenics classes in RR Nagar are built on partner work.
Why Partner Work?
It isn't just about making cool shapes. It is functional training for focus and social skills.
- Trust: You cannot perform a double handstand or a partner backbend if you do not trust the person holding you.
- Body Awareness: You learn to adjust your center of gravity based on what your partner is doing.
- Strength: Holding another person requires more core stability than most machine-based workouts.
How We Stay Safe
This level of training sounds risky, but we mitigate it with the right setup. We use professional pneumatic air tracks to reduce joint impact and high-density crash mats for landings. I am always there to spot the students for high-risk maneuvers, and we follow a strict progression. You do not start with a human pyramid. You start with basic balance, then partner planks, then static holds, and finally, the stunts you see in these photos.
Who This Is For
Whether your child is a competitive athlete looking to add acrobatic skills to their routine, or they just need a place to burn energy while learning something technical, this fits. We keep our batches between 10 and 15 students to ensure I can give personal attention to every pair.

I am Kru Chandra Kumar. I run The Rock Bull Academy of Arts with one goal: making kids strong, physically and mentally. This partner work is how I teach my students to look out for each other while they build real power and agility.
