My Artistic Journey: From Ankola to Your Home
Art is my way of speaking the language of emotions. From my early days in Ankola to stages across the state, this journey has been entirely about capturing the smiles that matter most.
I was incredibly honored to be featured by News18 Kannada for my artwork, including my leaf art and scribble portraits. Thank you to everyone who has supported my journey from a small village in Ankola.
A proud moment for me, being recognized on stage and presenting my artwork. I am grateful for these opportunities.

About My Journey as an Artist
You will see my growth here, from early leaf art experiments to stage recognitions. But for me, the real journey is what happens when you hold the final sketch in your hands. Whether I am restoring a faded family memory or capturing a candid moment, I approach every commission with the same dedication I have poured into my own growth as an artist over the years.
I started drawing as a kid in Ankola, finding joy in sketching everything from street vendors to my own mother's inspiration. Since then, I have taught myself various techniques—charcoal, scribble art, ballpoint, and even leaf carving—not to show off, but to find the right medium for your specific story.
My journey isn't just about the awards or the news features you see in this gallery. It is about the hundreds of portraits that now hang on walls in homes across Karnataka. The growth you see in my work, comparing my early sketches to the ones I do today, is proof of my commitment to getting your details exactly right.
When you commission a piece, I treat it with the same care as my own personal projects. I work on A4 and A3 paper, using high-grade materials to ensure your charcoal or graphite portrait lasts a lifetime. I focus heavily on skin texture, hair flow, and the subtle facial expressions that make a person who they are. If you have an old, blurry, or damaged photo of a loved one, that is exactly where I focus my efforts—reconstructing features to bring back that innocent smile you miss. Every portrait is a partnership, and I share work-in-progress updates so we get it right together.
