About Live Event Artist
Art That Happens in the Moment
I’m Ravish Harikantra, a self-taught artist from Karunadu. Art, for me, is about emotion and making memories on stage. I want people to feel happy when they see my work - avarige khushi padisona antha (to make them happy).
What I Do On Stage
- I do live speed painting, turning a blank canvas into a full artwork in just a few minutes.
- My shows have been part of big events like Ankola Utsav and Kumta Sambhrama. The stage lights, the crowd, and a live projection mean everyone gets to see every brushstroke.
- I often paint themes close to our hearts - tributes to legends (like Puneeth Rajkumar), local icons, and moments from films like Kantara.
Special Touch for Guests
- I can make stage portrait sketching either before or during the event.
- The grand reveal: I prep a portrait ahead as a surprise.
- Or, I sketch live so everyone can see the process up close. It’s something people remember.
Why I Do This
The cheers and applause are great, but what sticks with me is seeing someone’s reaction - that moment when my art connects with them. That’s what keeps me coming back to the stage, barobar (for real).

My Story
Namaste, I’m Ravish Harikantra. People call me ‘Karunadina Kalavida’—I wear that name with pride. I’m not trained in any fancy art school, just learnt by doing. I love sketching people I meet—ajji selling mangoes, petrol bunk guys, kabaddi boys. That mugdha nagu (innocent smile) they give after seeing their sketch, that’s my purpose. Sometimes, folks come with big stories—lost fathers, old memories. My art tries to bring back those moments. Nanna kalege sanda ee gaurava... (This honour my art has received...) stays with me. I just want to spread happiness.
My Work
Art Styles I Do - Blood art portraits, scribble art, leaf carving, charcoal sketches, digital art, and speed painting for events.
Live Sketches for Strangers - I sketch people on the spot, just to see them smile. Not for sale, just for joy.
Blood Art for Memories - Some ask me to paint with their blood—love that lasts, memories that stay. Very emotional work.
Custom Portraits on Order - Anniversaries, birthdays, lost family—send me your photo, even old or blurry, I’ll make it real.
