Rain or shine, the training does not stop. Here, my players are doing endurance running drills on a wet field. This builds not just physical stamina but also mental toughness.
Agility and footwork are crucial for any cricketer. We use hurdles and other equipment to improve speed, coordination, and explosive power. I am always there to guide them on the correct technique.
These agility and plyometric drills are designed to build explosive strength. The players are working on their vertical jumps, which translates to power in both bowling and batting.
A proper warm-up is essential before any session. Here, the team is going through their pre-practice routine on the field, getting their bodies ready for the hard work ahead.

About The Grind: Endurance & Fitness
Most players focus only on batting or bowling, but the real test is standing in the field when you are exhausted in the final overs. My endurance program uses specific 10m to 30m sprint bursts and high-frequency ladder drills on natural turf to build that extra gear. If your mind is sharp, your body must be able to keep up.
Cricket is not just about technique. It is about being the last one standing when the pressure is high. At Raut Cricket Academy, we break down endurance into two distinct paths depending on your current needs and goals.
Field-Based Speed & Agility
This is for players who want to build raw power and speed without hitting the gym. We use hurdles, agility ladders, and interval sprints on natural turf. This is about real-world cricket fitness. You will work on sprint mechanics and reflex training to ensure you are faster between the wickets. This program is ₹2000 to ₹2800 per month.
Comprehensive Strength & Conditioning
If you want to take your game to the next level, this plan integrates our field drills with gym access. We focus on heavy lifts like squats and deadlifts for explosive power, alongside injury prevention work for your rotator cuffs and lower back. This includes video analysis of your biomechanics, so you understand exactly how your movement affects your performance. This program is ₹4200 to ₹5500 per month.
Everything we do is designed to prepare you for the grind. Whether it is rain or shine, we train. This is how we prepare players for MCA level selection. We do not just train cricketers; we build the mental toughness required to handle the long innings and tough bowling spells.
