About Creative & Themed Sessions
The secret to these themed sessions is not just the props, but the pacing. Whether we are styling a traditional Janmashtami scene or a whimsical Easter shoot, I prioritize your baby’s comfort above the visual setup. If they need a break, a feed, or a quick cuddle, we stop, ensuring that when we do capture the shot, they are genuinely happy, relaxed, and ready to play.
Creative photography is where I get to combine technical skill with a bit of playful storytelling. These sessions are highly collaborative. Before you step into my studio in Lower Parel, we discuss your vision. Some parents come with specific festive requests like Janmashtami or Ganesh Chaturthi, while others want something unique, like the milk bath or animal-themed sets you see in my gallery.
My approach is to keep the focus on your child, not just the decor. I source high-quality props, fabrics, and outfits, but the star of the frame should always be your baby's expression. For the traditional themes, I pay close attention to the small details, such as the marigold placement, the jewelry, and the hand-painted pots, to ensure the look is respectful and beautiful.
Here is how I manage these sessions:
- Collaborative Planning: You share your theme or inspiration, and I suggest the props and lighting that will make it pop.
- Comfort-First Environment: My studio is fully equipped for a seamless experience. We have a dedicated area for wardrobe changes and feeding, which is essential for longer themed shoots.
- Safe Handling: Whether we are using real rabbits for an Easter theme or water for a milk bath, safety is my absolute priority. I never force a pose. We wait for the right moment of connection or curiosity.
