About Little Champs: FUNdamentals for Early Movers (Ages 2-6)
Our Little Champs sessions utilize agility ladders, soft hurdles, and reaction lights to improve balance and coordination in toddlers. We focus on structured play that teaches kids to control their bodies, keeping the environment safe and age-appropriate while monitoring physical growth milestones to ensure long-term athletic health.
Why Start Early with Structured Movement?
It is never too early to establish the building blocks of physical literacy. Our Little Champs program is not about producing instant sports stars. It is about neuromuscular development, which is critical for children between the ages of 2 and 6. During this 'Active Start' stage, we emphasize fundamental movement skills like running, hopping, jumping, and balance.
Our Methodology
We bridge the gap between free play and structured training. Our sessions are 45 to 50 minutes long, twice a week, and held in our specialized facilities in Koramangala and Jayamahal. We use:
- Safe Equipment: Soft-edge obstacles and cushioned turf areas to prevent injury while introducing resistance and spatial awareness.
- Growth Tracking: We perform basic tracking of height and weight to ensure training aligns with your child's development model.
- Quarterly Observations: Parents receive feedback on motor skill acquisition, including balance and coordination improvements.
Safety and Science
We address common concerns parents have regarding training at a young age. There is a scientific consensus that properly supervised, age-appropriate training is not just safe but essential. We focus on movement mechanics before any complex drills, ensuring your child learns to land, move, and react correctly. This early intervention is the best defense against common sports injuries later in life, such as knee or back issues, as it builds resilience early on. Our coaches are trained to manage the energy of toddlers, turning focus into fun, and fun into capability.
