About StrongHER: Specialized Training for Women
Most gym programs ignore the specific needs of female physiology, from hormonal fluctuations to pelvic floor health. In our StrongHER sessions, we use a different approach. We bridge the gap between strength training and clinical education, meaning every session includes time to understand how your body works during different cycles, backed by physiotherapy and sports science insights. It is not just about lifting weights; it is about learning to work with your body, not against it.
Demystifying Women’s Health
Our StrongHER initiative is not a standard group class. It is a series designed to break down the barriers between gym performance and long-term health. We know that many women face issues, like pelvic floor weakness, irregular cycles, or discomfort during training, that are often dismissed as normal or unavoidable. We treat them as functional movement problems that require, and respond to, targeted training.
What You Can Expect
Each session blends education with movement. We bring in physiotherapists and sports psychologists alongside our strength coaches to ensure you get comprehensive guidance.
- Pelvic Floor and Core: Learn to identify and strengthen the muscles that actually support your movement, reducing back pain and increasing core stability.
- Cycle-Syncing and Hormones: We discuss how your menstrual cycle impacts energy levels, strength capacity, and recovery, so you can adjust your training intensity effectively.
- Community Learning: You are training alongside other women navigating similar challenges. This creates a feedback loop of shared experiences, making it easier to ask the difficult questions about your body in a safe, judgment-free zone.
Our Approach
Whether you are an athlete preparing for a season or someone trying to build consistent strength in daily life, the focus is always on individual capacity. We use science-based movement patterns, not generic templates. By understanding your own anatomy and physiology, you gain the autonomy to train harder when you feel ready and rest smarter when your body needs it.
Rapid Sport Fitness
At RSF, we do not treat women's fitness as a separate category, but as a deep dive into functional physiology. We focus on bridging the gap between clinical physiotherapy and athletic strength, helping you understand your body’s potential rather than just following a workout chart.
