Professional Art Portfolio Prep & Teacher Training
Whether you are aiming for design college admissions or starting your journey as an art educator, I provide the technical training and critical feedback you need to succeed.
This is what success looks like. One of my teacher training course participants created this vibrant, abstract Ganesha painting and went on to secure a position as an art teacher in a reputed Bengaluru school. My goal is to empower you with the skills for a career in art.
This expressive portrait is a fantastic example of the work we do for art portfolio preparation. I help students create a diverse and high-quality collection of artworks that showcases their unique style and technical skill for college applications.
About Career Focus: Portfolio Prep & Teacher Training
The leap from hobbyist to professional artist or design student requires a specific kind of rigor. Whether you are building a portfolio for NID, UCEED, or BFA admissions, or completing our 36-hour teacher training course, my goal is to strip away the guesswork. We focus on mastering perspective, spatial visualization, and pedagogy, ensuring your final work is technical, polished, and ready for critical review.
NID, NIFT & Fine Art Portfolio Preparation
Getting into a top design school is competitive, and your portfolio acts as your primary introduction. My module moves beyond basic drawing, focusing on the technical skills examiners look for:
- Perspective & Spatial Reasoning: Mastery of 1, 2, and 3-point perspective is non-negotiable. We tackle still life and object drawing to build your understanding of volume.
- Versatility: We introduce mixed media, charcoal, and palette knife techniques to show the admissions committee that you can handle different visual languages.
- 1-on-1 Critique: You get direct feedback on which pieces to include, how to frame your concepts, and how to improve your final submissions.
Professional Art Teacher Training
This certification is designed for those who want to teach art confidently, not just create it. It covers both the artistic craft and the 'how-to' of instruction.
- Vocational Curriculum: You will work across 5+ mediums, including watercolors, oils, acrylics, and soft pastels. You leave with a portfolio that includes large-scale canvas work, paper sketches, and fabric painting.
- Pedagogy: A significant portion of our training focuses on structuring lesson plans for different age groups, managing a classroom, and simplifying complex techniques for your future students.
- Practical Output: By the end of the course, you have a physical portfolio and a certification that demonstrates your competence across diverse art forms.
Whether you are studying at my studio in Chandapura or joining from another city online, the focus remains on building a professional-grade skill set that opens doors.
