About this collection
Many students approach me after finishing their own art journey, asking how they can teach what they’ve learned. This program is my answer to that. We don't just teach you how to paint with 10 different mediums; we teach you the structure of a successful class. You will learn to break down complex techniques into simple steps, pace a lesson for your own students, and plan a curriculum that actually works.
From Artist to Instructor
Teaching art is fundamentally different from creating art. In this 3-month Foundation in Fine Arts (FFA) program, we bridge that gap. You aren't just learning to paint; you are learning how to be a mentor.
What you will cover:
- Technical Mastery: We cover 10 different mediums including sketching, charcoal, acrylics, watercolours, soft pastels, oil pastels, and texture painting. You need to know these inside out before you can teach them.
- Curriculum Planning: This is where most people get stuck. We show you how to structure a 3-month course, how to balance theory with practice, and how to keep a class engaging.
- Live Teaching Practice: You won't just study theory. We provide supervised, hands-on teaching sessions where you lead a real class. This experience is critical for building the confidence you need to manage your own studio.
Who is this for? This course is for anyone looking to launch their own art classes, whether you want to teach kids, corporate teams, or hobbyists. You need the technical foundation and the business-of-teaching knowledge, both of which are fully covered here.
The Art Beat Studio Experience Classes are held at our HSR Layout studio. It is a casual, creative space designed to take the pressure off. You get priority booking for studio events, high-end materials for all 10 mediums, and a teaching portfolio to launch your career. If you are ready to make that shift, let’s talk.
Art Beat
I’m Namratha, and I started Art Beat because I believe art is a skill anyone can learn if they have the right guide. My teacher training program is how I share what I’ve built—not just the techniques for ten different mediums, but the actual 'how-to' of running your own studio.
