From Artist to Instructor

Teaching art is fundamentally different from creating art. In this 3-month Foundation in Fine Arts (FFA) program, we bridge that gap. You aren't just learning to paint; you are learning how to be a mentor.

What you will cover:

• Technical Mastery: We cover 10 different mediums including sketching, charcoal, acrylics, watercolours, soft pastels, oil pastels, and texture painting. You need to know these inside out before you can teach them.
• Curriculum Planning: This is where most people get stuck. We show you how to structure a 3-month course, how to balance theory with practice, and how to keep a class engaging.
• Live Teaching Practice: You won't just study theory. We provide supervised, hands-on teaching sessions where you lead a real class. This experience is critical for building the confidence you need to manage your own studio.
