Handcrafted Legacy and Dignitary Portraits
A collection of my most significant works, ranging from state-level dignitary portraits to multi-generational family heirlooms, all created with profound intention and precision.
This Royal Heritage oil portrait, measuring 5 by 3 feet, is more than a painting; it is a legacy. It was created to bring multiple generations of a family together into one frame, capturing their history and bond on canvas for all time.
It was a moment of immense honor to meet the former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind ji, and present him with this handcrafted portrait. His appreciation for my art is a blessing I will always cherish.
To have my work recognized by the former Chief Justice of India, Shri Uday Umesh Lalit ji, was a profound experience. Hearing him say my painting made him feel like he was reliving the golden moment of his life is the highest praise an artist can receive.
This painting holds a special story. I was asked to create a portrait that brought the late former Chief Minister, Shri Madanlal Khurana ji, and his son together. Using separate photographs, I composed this piece, which brought tears of joy and emotion, proving that art can truly connect souls across time.
This is a glimpse into my process. A signature A3 sketch comes to life using a mix of color pencil, watercolor, and acrylics. Every stroke is a part of the hustle and dedication that goes into creating a piece with soul.
A modern love story captured on a 2 by 3 feet canvas. This custom acrylic couple portrait was created to celebrate their bond, focusing on lifelike details and the emotion that makes their connection unique.
I consider it my sacred duty to honor the heroes of our nation. This series of portraits is my tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army, immortalizing their valor and sacrifice in color and canvas. Jai Hind.
For me, painting is a form of meditation and devotion. When I paint my Thakur Ji, my focus is absolute. Each feature, from the eyes to the lips, is a prayer, and the art of creation becomes a path to the divine.
It brings me great joy to see my clients happy. This testimonial from a client who commissioned portraits for his beloved dogs, Aiko and Hers, shows the beautiful bond we share with our pets. I am glad I could capture their spirit with immaculate detail.
About Featured
I do not merely copy a photograph onto canvas. For these large-scale legacy compositions, I spend days digitally reconstructing faded or disparate images to find the perfect posture and interaction between subjects. When you see the final oil painting, it appears as though the family members were standing in that very room together, because I meticulously unify the lighting, shadows, and skin tones across the entire frame to create a seamless, living memory.
Every piece in this collection is born from the same process of deep focus I apply to my daily spiritual practice. Whether I am capturing the gravitas of a former Chief Justice or the warmth of a family gathering, my approach remains consistent: the art must hold the soul of the subject.
The Art of Reconstruction
Many clients come to me with old, damaged, or separate photographs of loved ones who were never in the same room. I specialize in merging these into a single, cohesive narrative. This requires more than just painting skills; it involves an intuitive sense of composition and human connection. I reconstruct the background, adjust the scale of the figures, and bring harmony to the colors so the finished oil painting feels like a genuine, timeless moment.
My Mediums and Process
- Oil on Linen: Reserved for museum-quality heirloom pieces, I use high-grade Winsor & Newton oils on double-primed linen canvas. These works are built in multiple glazing layers, requiring a creation time of 15 to 25 days to allow for proper drying and depth.
- Mixed Media Sketches: For a vibrant, immediate finish, I blend watercolor, acrylics, and Polychromos pencils. This signature style offers a detailed, modern look that captures the vitality of the subject.
- Safety and Preservation: All my oil works include fungus-treated back paneling and heavy-duty framing. If you choose an organic medium like blood art or detailed charcoal, I use archival paper and specialized sealants to ensure the piece stands the test of time.
My studio in Paschim Vihar is where these prayers in paint take shape. If you have a memory you wish to immortalize, reach out and we can discuss the medium that best honors your vision.
