We turn your most sentimental clothing into functional, beautiful memory quilts. Whether it’s your mother's sarees or a collection of baby clothes, we preserve those stories in every stitch.

About Memory Quilts: Cherished Fabrics, New Life

When you entrust us with your sarees, our first step is always stabilizing the fabric. Since vintage sarees can be delicate or slippery, we apply professional-grade fusible interfacing to every piece. This process ensures your quilt doesn't just look beautiful, but is sturdy enough to be used as a real, cozy blanket for years to come.

How We Preserve Your Memories

A memory quilt is more than just a blanket. It is a tangible way to keep your family's stories close. We have worked with everything from heavy Kanjeevaram sarees to the softest cotton baby rompers, and our goal is always the same: to give these fabrics a fresh, useful life.

The Process

We start by understanding what you have. If you are bringing us sarees, we carefully plan the layout to showcase the borders, the patterns, and the parts of the fabric that hold the most meaning. We deconstruct the garments, stabilize them to prevent fraying, and then piece them into a quilt top. Finally, we use our Handi Quilter and Bernina longarm machines to layer, quilt, and bind the final piece.

Why Reversible?

One of our favorite things to do is create reversible memory quilts. By choosing a solid, coordinating fabric for the back, we can quilt a stunning pattern that pops, while the front keeps your original sentimental prints front and center. This makes the quilt versatile, durable, and ready for everyday use in your home.
