- Layers: High quality cotton or cotton poly blend batting with coordinated backing.
Finishing
- Quilting: Professional Bernina Q24 machine quilting with edge to edge pantograph designs.
- Binding: Machine stitched double fold binding for durability.
- Add on: Optional name or date embroidery on a corner label.
Upcycled Clothing Memory Quilt
Preparation
- Input: Processing of 15 to 25 client provided items (T shirts, shirts, denim).
- Stabilization: Application of fusible interfacing to every piece to prevent stretching or sagging.
Construction
- Materials: Includes premium solid colored cotton sashing, borders, batting, and high thread count backing.
- Layout: Classic grid or Sawtooth Star arrangement with color balancing.
- Quilting: Computerized or hand guided Longarm stitching across the entire surface.

How It Works
First, we’ll chat about what you want. Once you’re happy with the design, I get to work piecing it all together. I finish everything on my Longarm quilting machine for that professional touch and durability. Some designs take longer, and sometimes fabrics don’t behave, but I’m all about getting the details right so your quilt lasts for years.
